The final event of the project is a public screening of the documentary film “Why Can’t I Be a Sushi?”, along with a question and answer session with the director, British-Iraqi Hoda Yahya Elsoudani. The film is an investigation of Sunni-Shi’a unity and conflict told through the eyes of two young sisters, and seeks to deconstruct notions of intolerance and sectarianism in pursuit of greater unity and understanding between the two sects.
