Ahmed Paul Keeler owned a gallery of modern art in the 1960s which was at the forefront of the international avant-garde. In the 1970s he was introduced to traditional Islamic art which paved the way to his becoming a Muslim. As part of the Cambridge Festival of Ideas 2014 Ahmed Paul Keeler, a Visiting Fellow at the Centre of Islamic Studies, leads a lively lecture addressing the change of perspective he underwent relating to modern art.
