Muslim Thought in South Asia

Despite the long and rich tradition of Muslim thinking from and about the Indian subcontinent, intellectual histories of Islam tend not to pass through South Asia. This seminar series brings together emerging and established scholars from various disciplinary backgrounds to discuss Muslim thought in South Asia, past and present.

This is a virtual seminar series on Muslim thought in South Asia, co-hosted with the Centre of South Asian Studies and chaired by Taushif Kara [tk488@cam.ac.uk] from the Centre.

We hope to bring you a second series of talks in Autumn 2022.

The first series of talks concluded on 6 June 2021 – for more information on those please go here.

All events held virtually at 17:00 BST.
